Peer Review Policy

Double-Blind Review: JMSS employs a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both the author and the reviewers are concealed to ensure impartiality and objectivity.

Reviewer Selection: The editorial board selects qualified reviewers who have expertise in the subject matter of the manuscript and who are free of conflicts of interest. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback and evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, relevance, and scientific rigor.

Timeline: The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks, during which time reviewers are expected to provide their feedback and recommendations. The editorial board considers the reviewers' feedback and makes a decision on the manuscript.

Revisions: If the manuscript requires revisions, the authors are given a specified amount of time to make the necessary changes and resubmit the manuscript for further review.

Appeals: If an author disagrees with the editorial board's decision, they may submit an appeal in writing, providing a detailed justification for their position. The editorial board will review the appeal and make a final decision.
